I was eager to upgrade Luffy’s best abilities, grow my Karma, and learn more about the island by completing as much of the side content as possible. I had a good time flinging myself around the open environment while using stretch abilities to beat up bad guys and enjoyed the story. In terms of open-world game design, World Seeker isn’t an innovator, but it borrows and re-imagines familiar mechanics well (from the Batman: Arkham games, in particular) and proves why they are perfect for the One Piece universe. Repetitive combat, cumbersome movement controls, and a few outstandingly bad missions get in the way of what otherwise would have been a very respectable One Piece story. World Seeker looks the part of a breakout single-player One Piece game, but its many problems become apparent almost immediately after picking up the controller. but also i think the source of my problem might be the controller im using. but then id get screen tearing, i shouldve mentioned that in my OP. Reviewed By- Mitchell Saltzman It looks great and the story is decent, but One Piece World Seeker's 20 hours of one-note combat and repetitive, misleading quests aren't worth suffering through. My games audio started tearing during the Law DLC but disabling V-Sync immediately fixed it.
